Information on Vaccines for Australian Citizens

As Australia progresses towards re-opening, we know many of you have questions about vaccination status and travel to Australia.  Please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions.

Prime Minister Morrison has confirmed that Australia's COVID-19 vaccination program will prioritise the rollout of vaccines in Australia. The rollout does not extend to Australian citizens while overseas.

The Hong Kong and Macau governments have implemented COVID-19 vaccination programs which are available to Australians in those locations.

For Hong Kong's COVID-19 vaccination program, please visit: https://www.covidvaccine.gov.hk/en/

For Macau's COVID-19 vaccination program, please visit: https://www.ssm.gov.mo/apps1/covid19vaccine/en.aspx

The Australian Government cannot provide advice on the safety, quality and efficacy of vaccines that have been approved for use outside of Australia's regulatory process. You should consult your local health professional for advice on vaccine options, including assistance that may be available locally.

Information on vaccines approved for use in Australia can be found on the TGA website.
