Launching 'Australian Eats': A Digital Map to City's Best Aussie Dining
(18 June 2025) – Finding Australian dining experiences in Hong Kong has just got easier. The Australian Consulate-General Hong Kong has launched Australian Eats, a free digital map connecting the public with the growing network of Australian-owned and inspired food and beverage outlets in the city.
Featuring over 80 establishments from specialty coffee roasters to award-winning restaurants, the map brings Australia’s diverse culinary influence to the fore. It serves as a practical reference for Hongkongers to explore authentic flavours within venues embodying an Aussie ethos: welcoming spaces where high quality, seasonal produce meet warm and friendly hospitality – a distinctive taste of the Australian lifestyle.
Australian Consul-General Gareth Williams said, “The launch of Australian Eats marks a significant milestone in demonstrating Australia’s culinary excellence in Hong Kong. Through this initiative we celebrate Australia’s world-class gastronomy and the culinary connections between our communities, while inviting Hongkongers to experience the uniqueness of Australian food culture.”

The Australian Eats Food Map is now available online and will be regularly updated to include new establishments. We welcome suggestions for additional venues that exemplify Australian culinary excellence in Hong Kong.
